A lovely longer 8 mile walk from Sycamore Cottage or a shorter 3 mile circuit close to Sycamore Glamping Pods is this impressive 13th Century Castle.
The castle’s history is thought provoking, these walls have seen a lot of change.
@chipchasecastle is open to the public during a select few days in the summer. This walk takes you along the riverside and back via the not so old but equally inspiring old railway line which served this part of the North Tyne and beyond.
