Every New Years Day we head off for a walk, đśââď¸this year we revisited Warden Hill which is a circular route which ends at popular pub The Boatside Inn. đť
The route takes in fabulous vistas of the tyne valley with its patchwork fields and river đď¸meandering through the villages and towns, a total contrast to the hills above of larger upland fields with brown grasses and the ridgeline of Hadrians Wall. đď¸
The route skirts past an iron age hill fort, through woodlands, the hamlets of high warden and warden itself.
